I have made progress on both my egyptian and roman snowboards.  I like the colors I am getting in both of them but i feel like the egyptian one could have more contrast.  I  have just started on the roman board but plan to put alot of blues to contrast the brown/gold.

I am a lot happier with these versions.  The color pops and leads the eye around.  I now need to work on more composition and try to develop depth.

I am honestly not happy with any of my pieces at all, none of them feel natural to me and it feels like they are lacking elements.  It needs more contrast, more defined shapes, more lines to follow, and I feel like my creativeness is slacking.

My image was too big. Anyway, Im not finding the contrast Im looking for in it, or the colors I want.  I am ahead of where I thought I would be at this point.

Good Start

I have finally started on my final project.  I love the results so far, especially the colors including the black and white selection.  The composition of the bottom half needs work, however.  I feel like the river is too simple and blocky.  It doesn't look like a river.

Reflection

I have spent a lot of time on my creature head and havent moved on to my individual project yet.  I am very happy with and proud of the detail in my creature, however.

Breakdown

January: Before the end of this month, I want to have the basic layout of my pieces, including a decided set of board sizes.  I will have the essential central image for each board and have the pattern of images and color around it decided.
February:  In February, I will create the base for the images to lay on.   I will do most of my photoshopping during this period.  By the end of the month, I plan on having all my photos edited and arranged.
March:  In March, i want to finish my illustration work on the tablet.  Once finished illustrating, I will be able to finish my photoshopping and print the graphics.
